Hannah Davis
Hannah Davis, a 17-year-old junior, has been at Berea Community for three years and has had a large role in her community and her extracurriculars since moving. Davis is on the soccer team, the track team, and runs cross country. Davis is also a great leader as she volunteers at the Berea Food Bank and is also involved in the Madison County Youth Leadership program. In her free time from sports and programs, Davis enjoys taking pictures and playing with her dog, Lucy, and her cat, Toulouse.

Davis was born in Guatemala and moved to the U.S. when she was fourteen. She is the youngest of five siblings, with two brothers and two sisters. She started going to school in Rockcastle County and moved to Berea three years ago where she began immediately making friends with her teammates and others in her grade. Davis was overwhelmed by how welcoming Berea was and how much better it was than her previous school. Now, she couldn’t imagine changing schools.

Davis began running in third grade and was hooked ever since, however, soccer takes the main role in her extracurriculars. She plays a large part in her soccer team even though she’s not a captain this year. Davis is a starting forward for the girls' soccer team and is looked up to by many underclassmen. Her teammates describe her as a very positive person, a great leader, and underclassman teammate, Ella Campbell says, “Hannah has the best work ethic I’ve ever seen!” She is very serious about sports and wants to do the best she can to win.

Hannah Davis is a strong leader who works hard for her goals. She has exceeded expectations on and off of the field, so everyone needs to look out for this fierce female storming the field and hitting the books.
